Pat’s Thoughts:

Duke +3 @ GT

What a great spot for Duke.  Duke is 8-1 in their last 9 facing the option, and have already shut down Army (who is better than GT).  Duke is coming off a much needed bye to get healthy.  Their QB Daniel Jones’s first game back post-injury was vs VT, and it showed.  The bye helped him more than anything. Before he got hurt, Duke was rolling beating NW and Army handily.  Those are two solid programs.

GT is coming off back to back blowout wins.  However, those blowout wins were vs inferior competition (BG and Louisville) who aren’t used to facing the option.  They lost to USF and Pitt, and I think that is more reflective of this team.  Duke rolls in this one and the wrong team is favored…
