PAT’S THOUGHTS:

I hate rookie QBs in their second start.  It seems like they play well in their first start, then crash hard.  Sam Darnold definitely has talent, but has sloppy mechanics and footwork.  I think they are a little over-valued after their big win on Monday night.  I also know they are playing on a short week, and the pub likes them at 60%.  Regarding Miami, their win last week was interesting statically.  They won by a TD, but their stats are nearly identical.  Throw on top of that that Tennessee scored on a kick return.  That is telling me that while they won, the argument could be they were outplayed by a Tenn team with a backup QB.  Hard pass on this one for me.
